IB Psychology is a Group 3 subject in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The course examines human behavior and mental processes through scientific inquiry, exploring biological, cognitive, and sociocultural approaches to understanding behavior. Students develop critical thinking skills while investigating contemporary psychological research, research methods, and ethical considerations in psychological practice.

The course is available at Standard Level (SL, 150 teaching hours) and Higher Level (HL, 240 hours), with first assessment in 2027.

Assessment consists of Paper 1 (integration of concepts, content, and contexts through short-answer and extended-response questions: SL 2 hours, HL 2 hours, SL 50%, HL 40%), Paper 2 (application of psychological knowledge to research contexts: SL 1 hour, HL 2 hours, SL 25%, HL 20%), Paper 3 (HL only: research methods and data analysis, 1 hour, 20%), and Internal Assessment (research proposal development: SL 25%, HL 20%).
